Smart Cover is an FCA-authorised intermediary, so anything published about our cover counts as a financial promotion. These rules protect you as much as they protect us.

  1. Keep information accurate and current. Prices, cover levels, claim limits and promotional codes must be updated within seven days of any change we communicate.
  2. Fair, clear and not misleading. Do not imply cover that a policy does not provide, and do not present price comparisons that are not like-for-like.
  3. No brand bidding. Paid search on Smart Cover trademarks, misspellings or brand-plus terms is not permitted without written approval.
  4. Official codes only. Publish only discount codes issued by the Smart Cover affiliate team, and remove expired codes promptly.
  5. No incentivised or forced clicks, cookie stuffing, adware, toolbar redirection or sub-network traffic without prior approval.
